Venita Jones Angwenyi, Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Venita joined our team in 2016. She graduated from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, AR with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and minor in chemistry. She then went on to further her studies and earn her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Parker University in Dallas, TX. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
David Cook, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
Dr. Cook is a graduate of Rocky Vista College of Osteopathic Medicine in Colorado, and is board-certified in Family Medicine. He is an Indian Health Services scholar and has served as a physician in the Choctaw Nation and the Cherokee Nation health systems. Frequently the “go-to” physician in his clinics for procedures, he has received additional certification in pain management procedures. His goal, even appearing on his medical school applications, has always been to provide competent and compassionate care for each patient he treats.
John Frey, Doctor of Medicine
Dr. John Frey is a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine physician in Texarkana and is currently licensed to practice medicine in Texas & Arkansas. Dr. Frey graduated from Albany Medical College of Union University in 1992. Having more than 29 years of diverse experiences. Dr. Frey has the following three expertise:

- Accidents
- Trauma
Elmer G. Pinzon, Doctor of Medicine
Dr. Elmer Pinzon graduated from Baylor College of Medicine in 1998, specializing in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PMR). Dr. Pinzon is a Board-Certified, physical medicine and rehabilitation/pain medicine physician specializing in musculoskeletal/interventional pain medicine, with an emphasis on principles of physical medicine, interventional spine/musculoskeletal, sports medicine, and regenerative medicine. Dr. Pinzon offers an array of injections, non-surgical treatments, and pain management procedures.
Leta, Office Manager
Leta joined our team in 1994 as the front desk receptionist and has worked all areas of the clinic over the years. She has been the office manager since 2008 and marketing director since 2005. She wears many hats and brings much knowledge to the running of the business. Leta is extremely passionate about chiropractic and its benefits not only for injuries sustained in an accident but for overall health. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband of over 20 years and her daughter. She also enjoys spending time with her new addition, Coco Chanel & grand dog Dash.
Charlotte, Chiropractic Assistant
Charlotte joined our team in 2006, and is the oldest of the bunch, bringing her wisdom to the team. She assists our doctor in patient therapy, among numerous other duties. She will make your time with us as welcoming and comfortable as possible. Charlotte is very passionate about people and animals. In her spare time, she is active with the Vietnam Veterans and loves spending time with her dog Lulu.
Abby, CA/New Patient Specialist
Abby joined our team in August 2016 as chiropractic assistant in therapy. She is now our new patient specialist and back-office assistant. She contributes where needed whether it be front desk, therapy or interventional pain management. Abby is the funny one of the bunch, her personality helps to bring a smile to the faces of our patients. When away from work Abby enjoys spending time with her family and friends either on the lake or hanging out.
Rebekah, Chiropractic Office Assistant
Rebekah joined our team in August 2018 as the chiropractic office assistant. Rebekah is one of the smiling faces that will greet you when you enter Back Pain Chiropractic. Rebekah handles the front desk duties - so if you want to schedule an appointment or if you have any questions regarding the clinic, give her a call. Rebekah brings her warm squirrely personality and passion of helping others to the team, making each patient need a priority. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and her son.
Sierra, Chiropractic Assistant
Sierra is the newest member of our team joining us in August 2021 as the back-office chiropractic assistant. Being new to chiropractic Sierra brings her dedication and determination to the team directly assisting patients with Physiological Therapeutic exercises. Outside of work Sierra is the Vice-President for HTR. (Hooks Texas Riders) Sierra has many roles in HTR. One of the roles include volunteering work for the city of Hooks. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family.
